Over two days in March at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, more than 60 Presenters, 45 Producers and numerous local and state government representatives converged to discuss all things touring, and be inspired by the 30 works on offer through the subsidised Queensland Touring Menu for 2012. 23 Producers were selected to pitch 30 productions available to tour Queensland in 2012. A mixture of the very best in dance, theatre, music and cabaret was on display for Presenters to select to tour their communities.
In arTour’s ongoing commitment to providing professional development opportunities, information sessions were also conducted around topics including: National Theatre Live program, Regional Stages, NARPACA updates, arTour website launch and an opportunity to hear from colleagues working in the fields of Council, Community & Culture.
