Safe things are boring. Danger is fun.

Circa’s Danger Club which is a new immersive community enrichment project explores deconstructing risk. It’s aimed at the 12-18 years age group with a performance outcome that can be held in a large range of venues that might include an arts centre, a disused railway tunnel, a speigeltent, a museum or a school.

Members of Circa’s globally renowned creative and acrobatic teams host a series of workshops exploring what does danger mean to you, how can we celebrate it, participate in it, control it and present it? An immersive experience for audiences of 100-300 people per performance is designed by the participants led by our Danger Leaders.

Risk mitigation, participation and providing a thrillingly good time are our specialties. Circa’s Danger Club! is an engagement program of scale and ambition. It is also remarkably affordable as it ends with a ticket buying audience: two to three performances of up to 300 people a show help defray costs and provide unforgettable performance outcomes. It is scalable, flexible and ambitious. At its core are the same values that have made Circa internationally renowned: quality, audacity and humanity.
