MOTHERMORPHOSIS (noun) A change in form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one.

A new work in development by award winning comedian Liz Skitch (SPOILT, SKITCHTEASE), this is a show for mums, dads and anyone who has ever wondered what their mother was like before she became ‘mum’.

MOTHERMORPHOSIS is a delightfully entertaining and honest one-woman show exploring the changes and surprises that one encounters on entering Motherhood.

Accompanied by a rich soundscape of the voices of many inspirational mums, this pastiche of absurdist comedy, satire, performance art and physical theatre blows apart stereotypical notions of ‘smooth and easy’ transitions into motherhood.

Directed by the award winning Maude Davey (SUMMER HEIGHTS HIGH, THE BURLESQUE HOUR).

Warning: contains nudity, hypno-birthing and a live chicken.
