Charismatic Circus Claire has found her calling in life, although it hasn't been an easy ride. After being rejected from the Kedron Wavell Services Club ABBA revival band, Circus Claire is onto bigger and better things. Youtube is her juggling coach and before long she is ready for a career in the circus although somehow her unique and quirky style is overlooked by the Cirque du Soleil audition panel. She tries everything from aerial tissu to acrobatics and suffers the deep heart-ache of a roller-coaster love affair with Boris-the-Russian-Gymanast-Turned-Circus-Acrobat. Even in her darkest moment, Circus Claire knows that where there is reality television, there is hope and once again Circus Claire re-invents herself.
Circus Claire is vivacious and slightly neurotic but unashamedly fabulous. Audiences of all ages will find her energy infectious and her smile contagious. She is living proof that being true to yourself makes the world brighter.

The show is wonderfully entertaining and brings a smile to all who see it. The central character takes time at the start of the show and at the end of the show to directly interact with audience members, meeting and shaking the hands of children and adults alike. The audience participation scene in this show is particularly funny and gives an opportunity for audiences to see members of their community involved directly with the show in a fun and supportive way. The central character is inspiring to audiences, especially children, showing through the narrative and through mastery of circus skills that anything is possible with hard work and self-belief. Workshops to accompany the show will allow participants to access circus training from professional circus performers, explore a new art form and potentially develop a love for contemporary circus that will build audiences and inspire people to take part in this dynamic and growing art form in Australia.
